Ha ha, I like how you wandered in....!
I personally like the mop top look, but just tidy it up a little.
The look at the moment is really to have the hair growing forward, styled towards the face ratehr than pointing down towards the shoulders.
A little height at the top, and the length never longer than the collar of your shirt.
Go to a hair stytlist who will give you styling advice while they cut, the best in Ireland at the moment is Michael Leong, in my opinion, and in Kilkenny is Kieran O'Gorman.
My advice?... Keep it long or shave it off, but don't succumb to the "boring bland barber short back and sides with litlle spikes at the top" cut a lot of guys have.

hi i was wondering if you could recommend what i should wear a short dress for my brothers birthday. It's black, sleeveless with a red bow under the chest. I'm fairly slim, but don't really want to show my legs too much. Do you think leggings or tights? and what kind of shoes? Thanks!

also my friend is going and she is wearing a bohemian kind of dress, really floaty and flowery, what shoes should she wear?
Thanks again!

Hello anonymous, well I am of the opinion that plain black tights with a high denier are the look this season, try the accessory department in Goods, or head to Penney's. To go with your 1960's young politician's wife look, go to Wallis and pick up their very high black patent heels with the red sole. Your friend is still into the bohemian thing eh? Well, if that's her style, that's excellent, we can't all be dressing the same, just make sure she's not into the crazy hippy style that Victoria Beckham tried and ruined two years ago. I think wedges are a boho's best friend, and I do advocate tights with open shoes, it's dinky and alternative. Enjoy your night!

Hi Blanaid

I really hate my hair, it's red and every one calls me a carrot top and other really hilarious things. I hate it so much I just want to wear a hat all the time. What colour should I dye it do you think?

Hey annonymous, maybe you should dye it a darker brown colour? I think thats the only thing you could do

Hiya Blanaid!
Great site.... Can you or anybody please tell me where I can purchase Darphin products in Kilkenny? I have recently moved back from Dublin and heard from a work colleague that they are in Kilkenny somewhere but she could not remember. Would you know?? Thanks a mill :-)
