Hello all, we are hoping to bring out a seasonal magazine with the Kilkenny People and we will be filling the pages with mad crazy shoots. If you are a promising model, tall, small, skinny or curvy, and would like to do some interesting shoots, get in touch. We don't pay, but we will give you prints for your portfolio.

Hi, no problem on the shyness, almost every single girl that has modelled for us was shy and nervous and hesitant to begin with, but we will give you complete direction and talk you through the shoot to begin with. Practice makes perfect, so have a look at magazines, copy poses in the mirror and find out what facial expressions and angles suit you best. Clear braces are no problem at all.

To ANONYMOUS and your two friends, you can be any age, as long as you have signed parental consent if you are under 16.
Times will be arranged as soon as we have met everyone and decided what to use each person for. You could be perfect for make up, hair, fashion or bridal shoots...

Hello all, well we have had quite a response to that small box, so I think we are going to take it one step further and arrange a meeting day.
I want you all to be relaxed and enjoy this whole experience from the start, so I was thinking that if I arranged an open day in a public place, let's say in Carrigans or something, where you could walk in off the street and have an informal chat about what you could do with us.
You can be any size, age, shape or height, any look, any style.
So what do you think? We could do it on a Saturday or a weekday evening if you wanted. Let me know what you think!

Hi all once more,
well I have been busy busy busy today thinking about this open call, and we have a plan of action forming.
Langton's have kindly donated their conservatory to us for an evening, so it will be in and around the 2nd of November.
We will have a photographer there to see how you photograph, and some assistants to help you go through poses and give you some tips. I also hope to have a make up area, but this depends on how much help we can get.
This will also be an open call to designers, from jewellery to bags, to dresses to shoes, if you would like a feature worth thousands of euros in the Kilkenny People, then come with a sample or photographs of your work on the night.
The open call is for models from any age, including babies if you like for our childrenswear shoots, straight through to great great grandmothers.
Any weight is great, skinny or curvy, there is room for everyone in this industry.
Modelling work is not paid, but you do get a copy of any published photograph which you can add to your portfolio, or hang proudly on your wall.
I'll keep you informed here, and on the pages.
